The Dream Begins...
This is a blog of my dream to make it to the semi-pro or NBA. I have thought about this for years but I have really given this consideration over the last month or so. Now, I am going to get ready to do it.

The first couple of entries of this journal or "blog", if you will, may be kind of long. I want to get alot of information out so I dont bore you to death in later posts.

I stand 6'2" 170 lbs and am told I have a sweet jumpshot. I was 3 years old when I started playing basketball. I fell in love the second I started playing. It has become a life long obsession, passion and love. The game has done many things for me. I have met and played against alot of great people and have gotten better as the years have rolled on.

Some of the people I have played with were very, very good, some werent that good. I actually enjoying playing against guys that arent that good. Why you might ask? Well, it makes me want to make them play harder and want to get better.

I try to push my teammates to their limits and make them want to win every single game we play. When we do win, it makes it that much more gradifying. I do have comments such as, "We're gonna get killed." or "We dont stand a chance." It doesnt mean that I dont have faith in them. I just want them to prove me wrong.

I honestly hate every player I have played against that is better than me. I really dont hate them, I just hate playing with them. Why? I like to play hard, but I want to be the best one on the floor at all times. That may seem a little "big ego'd" but that is how I am.

Well that is all for today. I dont want a billion page blog and have no updates during the week. I play ball every sunday and sometimes every saturday. I will keep ya posted at how I am doing. I also plan on putting on around 20 to 30 pounds of muscle over the summer to get ready for some type of semi pro, full pro, league in the next 2-3 years.

Coming soon, my hardest opponents, my fav memories of playground basketball and my thoughts on the Eau Claire and Wausau, Gus Macker tournaments this summer.
